Omega Aerosports' Summer Festival 2956 is a full week of community racing, running 17-23 August. Omega Aerosports is teaming up with other racing organizations in the community to put at least one race on the calendar every single day of that week, with what CIG's newsletter describes as generous prizes.
Entry is per-race rather than all-or-nothing: you can sign up for a single day that suits your schedule, or commit to the whole week. Nothing stops you from doing both — each race has its own sign-up.
This is community-organized rather than a CIG in-game event, so the prize pool and rules come from the participating orgs, not from official patch content. If you are new to racing, the practical barrier is usually a light, fast hull and a quantum drive you can live with rather than raw skill — our Upgrade Tool shows the real component stats per ship, and the party planner is a decent way to organize a group around one of the race days.
