High-value trade has three risks: capital at purchase, physical cargo while travelling and buyer demand when selling. The route is real only when all three are acceptable.
Elespo currently favors volume from Chawla’s Beach on Pyro IV to Ashland on Ignis. Osoian Hides favors a small illegal shipment from Golden Riviera on Bloom to Devlin Scrap & Salvage on Euterpe.
Community data can be stale and the economy is shared. Use reports to decide where to check, never as a promise that stock or demand will wait.
Where you are going
Chawla's Beach
Elespo buy point — last reported at 6,000 aUEC/SCU with roughly 55 SCU in stock.
Ashland
Elespo sell point — last reported at 16,000 aUEC/SCU with demand for around 569 SCU, in 2-SCU containers.
The Golden Riviera
Osoian Hides buy point — 283,500 aUEC/SCU, 4-SCU container only.
Devlin Scrap & Salvage
Tracked Osoian buyer — 870,000 aUEC/SCU, accepting 1-, 2- and 4-SCU containers.
What you need and why
Must fit the actual 2-SCU Elespo or 4-SCU Osoian container path.
No substitute listedKeeps one loss from ending future operations.
No substitute listedLoads, secures and unloads physical cargo.
No substitute listedAvoids forced entry to a risky terminal after a detour.
No substitute listedChecks exposed Pyro endpoints and watches cargo movement.
Alternative: Run only a small test load at quiet times. What to look for
Osoian stock below 4 SCU can be visible yet not purchasable.
Shows whether buyer will accept the intended load now.
Confirms boxes attach and ship can still exit.
Signals endpoint has become a camp or ambush.
Older community observations deserve less confidence.
When it goes wrong
Golden Riviera only vends Osoian in a 4-SCU container. Any displayed figure of 1, 2 or 3 SCU is unpurchasable — that is the terminal working as designed, not a bug. Do not idle with a visible cargo ship waiting for a guaranteed refill.
Chawla’s Beach has been reporting roughly 55 SCU against Ashland’s ~569 SCU of demand, so the buy side empties first. Size the ship to the stock you can confirm, not to the demand at the far end.
Sell a smaller portion only if area remains safe, or leave and return later. Do not wait on pad with cargo exposed.
Abort before buying more. Test a cheap same-size container path and use a ship whose doors, lift and grid fit the actual box.
Keep cargo secured, verify current terminal and check patch/community reports before risking additional boxes.
Stop cargo movement and use extraction. The route is optional; ship survival preserves capital.
Rewards and progression
↳ High-margin trade opportunities when stock, demand and security align.
↳ A reusable discipline for any community-reported commodity route.
Departure checklist
□Check report age and terminal.
□Confirm box fits ship.
□Reserve claim, repair and fuel money.
□Buy only a recoverable load.
□Attach and inventory-check cargo.
□Scout sell endpoint.
□Verify demand before unloading.
□Record actual profit and wait time.

Choose the commodity for the session
These are two completely different businesses. Elespo is a legal "Man-made" commodity: UEX has it at 6,000 aUEC/SCU buy at Chawla’s Beach and 16,000 aUEC/SCU sell at Ashland — a 10,000/SCU margin on a cheap, forgiving load. Osoian Hides is an illegal "Vice" commodity: 283,500 aUEC/SCU at The Golden Riviera, 870,000 aUEC/SCU at Devlin Scrap and Salvage, a 586,500/SCU margin that turns one 4-SCU container into roughly 2.35 million aUEC profit on a 1.13 million aUEC outlay. Elespo is a volume route you can learn on; Osoian is a scarcity route that risks a fortune per box.
⚠ Those figures are the last UEX community reports, not live server state. They are what you use to decide where to check, never a guarantee of what the terminal will show. - 02
Calculate investment before launch
Reserve claim, fuel and recovery money before you spend a credit on cargo. On Osoian that is the whole discipline: a single 4-SCU container costs about 1,134,000 aUEC up front, and if it is destroyed or stolen in transit you need to still be able to fly. On Elespo the ceiling is set by supply, not by your wallet — Chawla’s Beach has been reporting around 55 SCU of Elespo in stock while Ashland reports demand for 569 SCU, so the buy terminal, not the buyer, is what caps the run. That is roughly 550,000 aUEC of margin available in a full clear-out, and it means there is no point bringing a Hull C.
- 03
Verify the buy terminal
At Chawla’s Beach or Golden Riviera, inspect live commodity stock before retrieving the cargo ship. Osoian Hides only ships in a 4-SCU container at Golden Riviera, and the terminal will happily display a stock figure below that — the last report showed 3 SCU, which is visible, tempting and completely unbuyable. Devlin accepts 1-, 2- and 4-SCU containers on the sell side, so the constraint is entirely at the buy end. Elespo at Ashland moves in 2-SCU boxes; verify Chawla’s stock has not been cleared out since the last report before you commit a hauler.
- 04
Load physically and leave cleanly
Call only cargo you can secure, attach it to the grid, check door clearance and keep the ship ready to lift. Do not idle in a warehouse comparing spreadsheets; shared stock, other players and exposed terminals make delay expensive.
- 05
Scout the sale location
At Ashland or Devlin, arrive at scan range and check traffic, pads, elevator behavior and buyer interface before bringing the loaded ship down. If the route has become a camp or demand collapsed, use the fallback decision instead of forcing delivery.
- 06
Sell in the verified flow
Use the correct live terminal or physical cargo interaction and wait for transaction confirmation. For Osoian, verify one valid sell interaction before attempting a larger load because buyer interfaces and freight behavior can shift by patch.
- 07
Record the real result
Write down capital, actual sold SCU, travel time, terminal wait, repair cost and loss risk. Run the route again only if net return and stress were acceptable; a headline profit number without waiting time is not hourly income.
Field notes
↳ Elespo is a volume route; Osoian is a scarcity route. Do not use the same ship or timing assumptions.
↳ Elespo margin is 10,000 aUEC/SCU (6,000 buy, 16,000 sell). Osoian margin is 586,500 aUEC/SCU — one box is worth 235 SCU of Elespo.
↳ Osoian only sells in a 4-SCU container at Golden Riviera. A terminal showing 3 SCU is showing you something you cannot buy.
↳ Elespo is capped by supply (~55 SCU at Chawla’s Beach), not demand (~569 SCU at Ashland) — size the ship to the buy terminal.
↳ Osoian Hides is flagged illegal; Elespo is not. That changes the route, the endpoints and the consequences of being scanned.
↳ The Osoian timer is an estimate from observed behavior; another player can buy the increment instantly.
↳ Ashland and Golden Riviera are unmonitored high-attention endpoints. Scout before retrieval and before landing.
↳ Never arrive at a buyer with more cargo than you are prepared to wait, defend or abandon.
