MISSION BRIEFING

A single Hockrow Agency case file (#JD10285) running eight sequential stages plus one side contract and four repeatable follow-ups, all inside the same shuttered ASD facility.

The narrative spine: Dr. Logan Jorrit, ex-Lead Scientist at Onyx and suspect in the ASD Lazarus incidents, has been quietly returning to his old lab. Each data pull narrows down what he is doing until Site-B and Project Hyperion answer it.

Because every stage reuses two wings, the efficient play is to learn the Engineering and Research routes once and then treat each contract as a known errand.

The lobby provides the critical navigation, medical and extraction reference point.

01
ROUTE INTELLIGENCE

Where you are going

01
Onyx facility exterior

Large hangar

Entry and reliable extraction anchor — the briefings require a ship that fits a large hangar.

Approach: Record its route before moving inside.
02
First interior hub

Lobby

Sector signage, med station behind the elevator shaft, ASOP terminals and hangar elevators.

Approach: The central elevator is reported defective; regroup here rather than trying to use it.
03
Marked interior sector

Engineering wing

Stages 2 (Jorrit files), 4 (Energy Anomaly sensors), 7 (Power Usage upload) and the Hyperion Reagent code.

Approach: The entrance walkway is partly blocked by stalagmite growth — detour around it; then condenser hall, then the power core dome.
04
Marked interior sector, sub-level 4

Research wing

Stages 3 (Jorrit files), 5 (Security monitoring data), 6 (seismic experiment), the Lab Sample, and the Hyperion Catalyst code.

Approach: Reception has a wall-mounted floor-plan board — orient the team there before splitting up.
05
Below the main facility

Site-B lab

Jorrit's off-the-record lab; where Project Hyperion is run and uploaded.

Approach: Bring both codes. This is an active lab with ASD security, unlike the rest of the site.
06
Wherever you regenerate

Your home location

Where the Secure Drive rewards are actually delivered.

Approach: Budget a return trip; nothing is handed over at Onyx.

VISUAL CHECKS

What to look for

Which wing the stage names

The objective line always names Engineering or Research explicitly — read it before you set off inside.

Deliver vs upload

Anomaly/Security/Seismic/Lab Sample come home with you; Files and Power Usage are done on site.

Reagent and Catalyst codes

Project Hyperion needs one from each wing before Site-B is worth walking to.

Sector signage

Use Engineering, Research and lobby labels as shared landmarks.

Med station

Behind the lobby elevator shaft — identify it before health becomes critical.

04
RECOVERY PLAYBOOK

When it goes wrong

No dossier marker appears.

The eight stages unlock strictly in sequence under case #JD10285. Check Contract Manager for an unfinished prior Jorrit stage and reselect the active contract.

I cannot quantum to Onyx.

That is correct on the first stage only — the QT beacon was deactivated when ASD shut the site. Fly the last leg manually; the work-around arrives with stage 2.

The briefing describes a different wing than the marker.

Known text bug on the "Updated Power Usage Data" repeat, whose prose is copied from the Energy Anomaly stage. Follow the objective line and marker.

I finished the objective but got no reward.

Secure Drives (5 after Research Files, 10 after Power Usage, 1 per repeat) are delivered to your home location, not at Onyx.

Site-B will not let me run the experiment.

You need both codes: Reagent from the Engineering wing and Catalyst from the Research wing. One alone does nothing.

The team is lost inside.

Fall back to the lobby and navigate by posted sector names rather than splitting. Do not rely on the central elevator.

Radiation or hostiles overwhelm the team.

Retreat to a known landmark, treat, resupply and clear one route at a time.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Rewards and progression

5 Secure Drives on completing Access Research Files, and 10 on completing Power Usage Data — collected at your home location

One ASD Secure Drive per repeatable "Updated" data run (Energy Anomaly, Security, Seismic, Power Usage)

Jorrit's lab notes pushed to your mobiGlas journal during Project Hyperion

A lead into InterSec's Vanduul-Tech Smugglers contract in Nyx

FINAL GO / NO-GO

Departure checklist

Confirm which of the eight #JD10285 stages is live.

Bring a ship that fits a large hangar.

Stage 1 only: fly the final approach manually.

Record the hangar route and map the lobby, med station and elevators.

Note whether the stage is Engineering or Research before entering.

Note whether it is a delivery or an on-site upload.

For Hyperion, collect both Reagent and Catalyst codes before Site-B.

Extract via the lobby, then collect Secure Drives at your home location.

Step-by-step route8 stages
  1. 01

Know the chain before you start it

This is one case file — Hockrow Agency #JD10285, Lead Investigator Arken Mallor — split across eight sequential stages, and each briefing quotes the previous one's findings, so the order is not guesswork. It runs: (1) Onyx Personnel Files, (2) Access Engineering Files, (3) Access Research Files, (4) Retrieve Energy Anomaly Data, (5) Retrieve Security Data, (6) Retrieve Seismic Data, (7) Power Usage Data, (8) Project Hyperion. A separate one-off, Jorrit Dossier: Lab Sample, sends you into the Research wing to find and deliver a physical sample. Once the chain is done, four repeatable "Updated" variants (Energy Anomaly, Security, Seismic, Power Usage) re-run the same errands for an ASD Secure Drive each.

  2. 02

Stage 1 — Onyx Personnel Files, and the manual approach

The client wants a complete dossier on Dr. Logan Jorrit, ASD's former Lead Scientist at Onyx and the man Hockrow believes is responsible for the incidents at ASD's Lazarus site. Your job is to get inside the shuttered facility and access the research lab's personnel files. This is the only stage where travel is awkward: the briefing states the QT beacon was deactivated when the facility went dark, so you fly the last leg manually. From stage 2 onward Mallor explicitly says he found a work-around and you can quantum directly to the site — so if a later run is still making you fly it by hand, you are on an older stage than you think.

  3. 03

Use the lobby as a hub

The lobby is built around a central elevator — reported defective/non-functional in current builds, so don’t waste time trying to force it — with a reception desk and sector signage pointing to Engineering, Research and the med station tucked just behind the elevator shaft. ASOP terminals and the hangar access elevators sit in this same room, so it doubles as your extraction point. Call out these landmarks to the team before moving deeper; the lobby is the safest place to regroup, treat injuries and confirm the next marker.

    Stages 2, 4 and 7 — the Engineering wing

Three stages live in Engineering, and knowing that up front saves a lot of wandering. Stage 2 is Access Engineering Files (Jorrit's recent file accesses — he had been back on site). Stage 4 is Retrieve Energy Anomaly Data, using sensors the briefing says are still active and sensitive enough to pick up anomalous readings; this one you carry out physically rather than uploading. Stage 7 is Power Usage Data, an upload, prompted by the seismic finding that Jorrit may have been excavating. Physically, the Engineering entrance is partly blocked by stalagmite growth across the main walkway — detour around it rather than pushing through — and beyond it lie the condenser hall and the power core dome, which has a distinct visible anomaly at its centre.

    Stages 3, 5 and 6 — the Research wing

Three stages live in Research. Stage 3 is Access Research Files. Stage 5 is Retrieve Security Data — Mallor notes the Onyx security monitoring system is still operational, which is why there is anything to pull. Stage 6 is Retrieve Seismic Data, from an old experiment still running down there that monitors minute seismic changes; it is the stage that produces the excavation lead. The Lab Sample side contract is also here. Research sub-level 4 opens on a reception area with an in-game floor-plan board mounted on the wall — worth a glance to orient the team before splitting up.

Watch which stages are deliveries and which are uploads

This trips teams up mid-run. Access Engineering Files, Access Research Files and Power Usage Data are accessed or uploaded on site — you leave with nothing in your inventory. Energy Anomaly, Security, Seismic and the Lab Sample are physical: Mallor says outright he needs you to bring those to him, so the run is not over when the terminal blinks. Read the objective wording, not just the marker, before you extract.

The in-game briefing for "Updated Power Usage Data" is a copy-paste of the Energy Anomaly text and describes the wrong wing. Trust the objective line and the marker, not the case-update prose.
  7. 07

    Stage 8 — Project Hyperion in Site-B

The payoff. Mallor confirms Jorrit has been running an off-the-record lab in the facility's Site-B on an experiment he calls Project Hyperion — in his words, trying to make humans evolve. Jorrit's lab notes are pushed to your mobiGlas journal once you are underway, so read them in transit. The stage is a two-key fetch before the finale: collect a Reagent code from the Engineering wing and a Catalyst code from the Research wing, then take both down to the Lab in Site-B, run the experiment and upload the results. Unlike the rest of the facility this is described as an active lab, so expect ASD security rather than only scavengers.

  8. 08

Collect the drives and pick up the follow-on lead

The rewards are staged and they are items, not just credits: completing Access Research Files sends 5 Secure Drives to your home location, Power Usage Data sends 10, and each repeatable "Updated" variant sends a single ASD Secure Drive. They are collected at your home location, not handed over at Onyx, so factor a return trip in. The investigation also feeds elsewhere: InterSec's "Vanduul-Tech Smugglers" contract, from Operations Manager Deacon Tobin, opens by citing evidence extracted from the ASD facilities and sends you to the old QV Planet Services Logistics station in Nyx after black marketeers dealing in Vanduul parts — parts linked to the illegal Vanduul experiments at Onyx.

Field notes

Eight stages, one case file (#JD10285) — Engineering holds stages 2, 4 and 7; Research holds 3, 5 and 6; Site-B holds 8.

From stage 2 onward you can quantum straight to Onyx; only the first stage requires flying the last leg manually.

Every briefing after the first says the same thing: bring a ship that fits a large hangar.

Energy Anomaly, Security, Seismic and Lab Sample are physical deliveries. Engineering Files, Research Files and Power Usage are on-site uploads.

Project Hyperion needs two codes first — Reagent from Engineering, Catalyst from Research — before Site-B will do anything.

Secure Drives arrive at your home location, not at Onyx. 5 after Research Files, 10 after Power Usage, 1 per repeat run.

Site-B is an active lab: expect ASD security, not just squatters.

Use numbered or named landmarks in comms instead of vague left/right calls.
